Faith Without Actions

Bless You My Brothers and Sisters, In today's segment we will be dealing with our faith in Who and What we believe in. Let's get started, the word faith appears in the Bible (KJV) 247 times. Faith- confidence or trust in a person or thing: 2. belief that is not based on proof: Hebrews 11:1 says, Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. The way we know our faith is activated is by believing it when there's no proof in sight, not wavering by any means, James 1:6 says it like this, But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. If we waver the enemy comes in and knocks us off course allowing our circumstances to draw a negative outcome to what we prayed for. In other words if we prayed to God for a financial blessing and we waver the devil will have us doubting, and how many of us know when we doubt it cancels out the previous prayer? Our belief must be so strong that even if it didn't happen we still believe that it will. Matthew 13:31-32 says:  31Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field: 32Which indeed is the least of all seeds: but when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs, and becometh a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in the branches thereof. What this tells us is we have to start somewhere, once we practice with a little one day it increases and grows to be the largest plant able to provide for the birds. In other words when we believe God for a dollar and he provide it that increases our faith to believe Him for hundreds, then thousands, until one day it grows to millions, then we're able to provide for others. But we need to understand a key point, Faith is a Verb James 2:26 explains it like this: For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also. This tells us when we pray, believe and then apply works to it. In my conclusion, there have been many times when we have become discouraged or disappointed when we didn't receive after praying and believing, I'm reminded of the father in Mark 9:24 And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief. ( the meaning of unbelief here is, Unfaithfulness or Disobedience) We always expect God To be the giver and we be the receiver, but we need to reverse that and be the giver to Him. Let us stop expecting things if we can't hold up to our obligations and duties. (Remember what you said He called you to do..... Are you doing it?)

Be Blessed:
Servant AJ
