Greetings Brothers & Sisters, Before we begin I would like you to keep one thing in mind, All Saints have a past, and all Sinners have a future. with that being said let's look into the word of God, Matthew 7:2 states, For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. In other words when you are ready to pronounce judgement on someone, just remember yesterday God had mercy on you. Romans 2:1 says it like this, Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things. I understand that to mean God will not excuse us if we judge, We are to be compassionate. If we take 90% to mind our on business and take the other 10% to leave other folks business alone that would leave no room for judging someone else faults. As Christians our duty is to draw the world with love and kindness (Jeremiah 31:3) not beating them over the head with the bible, lets remember what John 3:17 states: For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. Romans 3:23 explains it like this, For ALL have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; In conclusion let us love as Christ loves.
Be Blessed:
Servant AJ
I see what your saying we should not judge and i agree , but on the other hand if we see a brother caught up in some sin we need to point this out to him and bring him back into the fold with love, if no one point's it out to him he will keep on sinning and lead many away. Read James 5:19,20 you will see what im talking about. Good stuff keep blogging my brother keep it real.
ReplyDeleteI do understand that we should point out the mistake but not the way our church does it. It must be done in love not judging, read Luke 7:36-50 Jesus showed compassion even though he knew her sins. Also Galatians 6:1 tells us to cover our brother faults with meekness. I just want to be Christ like. Be Blessed my Brother.
